A.J. Llewellyn lives in California, but dreams of living in Hawaii. Frequent trips to the islands, bags of Kona coffee in the fridge and a healthy collection of Hawaiian records keep her refueled.
A.J’s passion for the islands led to writing a play about the last ruling monarch, Queen Lili’uokalani, written from her maid’s point of view.
AJ never lacks inspiration for writing romances. With over 200 published books, this is indeed rare. When it does happen, she surfs and hangs out with friends and animal companions.
A.J. Llewellyn believes that love is a song best sung out loud.
About my story: Retired Kauai detective Danny Morales’ first client as a private investigator is Sachi Hammond. Sachi is young, beautiful, and married to a man who promised her the cash she needed to save her home. Trapped in an abusive marriage, Sachi falls in love with her neighbor. But, when she vanishes, Danny knows hunting for the truth in the deep, dark side of the islands is ke ‘ahi pio’ole: the fire that never burns out.
